harmful gases

hi can anyone tell me any of the harmful gases associted with welding

The fumes from welding over cadmium plated or galvanized parts is not good.
Hexavalent chromium fumes associate with high current mig welding of stainless steels is apparently a big deal these days.

Apparently ozone produced in the welding arc can interact with chorinated solvents (tricloethylene maybe) and produce phosgene gas.

Here's a link, also mentions lead, which is pretty obvious, but also manganse found in steel and SS.
