I tried some 6013 today.
Wow. After I ran the second rod, I looked and the slag just curled up and came off in one piece.
It looks a lot better than the 6011 did.1/8 6013 90 amps DCEP

Looks good. Funny to hear people say the tried 6013 one day and have welds that look like yours. It took me, literally, a couple of years to consitently get a good weld with 6013. Now it is my rod of preference and I stick weld most of my project.

slag curling off in one piece is a good sign that you have a decent weave, amperage, and speed the rest is fine tuning looks good
