Kind of a new guy

I've been lurking around for quite a while. I've learned so much and I'd like to thank you guys for all your shared knowledge.

I took on welding because I needed to fix small things on my stunt motorcycle and a welder was so expensive, even for small jobs. So, I decided to learn the basics. I did a ton of research on here and ran into a high school friend who owns a welding shop. He offered to teach me for free and after 2 weeks he liked my progress and offered me a part time job as a welder. I've been doing it for a few months now and I have to say, i've done pretty good. ExpertVillage.com has also helped.

anyway, again, thanks for sharing all your knowledge, gents.
