Finished at last

I have finished my door at long last it’s been an ongoing project for ages
the wife is happy now I put it up today
were going to paint the birds in their true colours but before I sent it out to sandblasting I hit it with some undercoat then she did a trail run of painting the birds didn't look all that great so I just painted it in PPG 2pac cream
I friend gave me a deadlock for it so it’s a bit harder for the locals to nick it
So after many hours of fab time here it is

its been about 8mths since we had a screen door on the front didn't take me that long to make it I've just been very busy
have to post this pic my offsider during the door project was happy to be able to look out the front again

That gate turned out even nicer than I had imagined when I saw the uncompleted pics of it. Very nice work! I agree, you will have people comming up to the house just to get a closer look at the gate.

yeah have got a few so far Scott and a couple of orders on the books
were getting alot of people pulling up in front of the house for a look don't know if anyone has knocked on the door yet as we have hardly been home since fitting it up wife has been out alot and I don't get home till dark most days and if I'm home I'm up the shed working so I don't hear them
