First of all, you do know the V160T is a DC machine and will not weld aluminum. So, if you want to weld aluminum, you will have to rule that machine out.

If you want a nice DC inverter, you should look at the HTP Invertig 160DC. It is about $1300 and it has the footpedal, your choice of HF or touch start, and also has a pulser. Comes with a 25' torch too.

If you want to weld aluminum, and still want the portability and low power consumption (plus all the other advantages of an inverter) look at the HTP Invertig 201. Lincoln also sells the V205T.
