6G 316 SS Cert. 6" Sch. 80 TIG

Next week, I will be taking my 6G cert and was looking for any tips. I have certified 3G & 4G HY80 and GMAW Aluminum, but I have never taken the pipe test. As I understand it, I will run the root/cover passes from the following positions; 6:00 to 3:00; 6:00 to 9:00; 3:00 to 12:00; and finally 9:00 to 12:00. The pipe will be chamferred 37.5 degrees each side with about a 0.030" land, and I will use a 0.030 weld gap with backing gas. The pipe wall is going to be 3/8 thick.
How many passes should I weld this in?
I was thinking 3, since the entire test is TIG. I do not want risk undercutting on the cover.
