Hi all,
I was looking at google for a new lid (Speedglas is getting old).. and i stumbled upon this site.. looks kinda cool so i registered. Couple things about me i suppose.

I'm 23 years old, Weld for a living At Durre Bros in minonk illinois. we do mostly multipass mig welding there some stick some tig.. but not much.. Ive been welding 3 years and in those 3 years I've Become AWS self Certified... and went from a a 12$ (interlake) to a 19.45 an hour lob .. I've learned alot about welding and metal working in general.. before i was a welder i was a non-union iron worker in Chicago.. Setting steel in basements and Garage's and also setting up the frames for restaraunts... i know im just a young pup but theres always more to learn... so.. lets get this started

Welcome! I hear folks like Miller and Jackson here... I have a cheapy still, so I can't say one way or the other, but you are sure to get answers here. Also, try searching, there has been extensive convos on this.
