Added side gate to trailer

Needed an easier way to get mowers off trailer so I constructed a side gate. Now I dont have to unload all mowers just to get the one up front.

Now here's a man that like to make money with his time! Great job. And the front gate really makes sense.

I love the concept, but I gotta ask, did you reenforce the frame under the gate?
The top rail you took out for the gate is actually a major structural element of the trailer itself.
In keeping with the LawnSite tradition, where is the easy lift garage door spring contraption?

That is correct Franz. It does weaken trailer a little. Trailer has a wrap around tongue which make it a bit sturdier than trailers without, otherwise some reinforcing definately would be needed. it flexes slightly but no problems in the two years now and the benifits outway the drawback. I guess Im a little behind as I have no assist yet for the gate
