Samm:
They're for holding small parts while you tack them with O/A or TIG. Since we have a torch in one hand and filler in the other hand, it's hard to hold 'em with our tongue.

I'm wondering what alternate universe Rex lives in, with clean handles on his wire brushes?

And while I'm asking, why the Wyoming plate from someone in oHIo?

I'll bet that license plate brings back memories. It's numbered only, from what I can see of it. Bet the newer plates have a bunch of letters on 'em. More people. More cars/trucks.

I kept the original La Plata County plate that was on my old Dodge. The "VW" or "V V" prefix used to be county specific in my younger days back in CO.

Actually, I just bought the new brushes at the LWS. The oldies were relegated to general toolbox/shop duty. I do that every so often, bristles get bent up, dull and generally funky.

After 18 years in Big Wonderful Wyo, economic conditions forced the move to oHIo back in '90. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. The plate was on my PU when I made the move.

Weld fingers!

Nice!

I only have one. I never thought of making them at different angles like that. Learn something every day.

Great selection and idea! I've not seen them before. My weld fingers are on the ends of my arms or an old file or offcut!

Another little project I'll have to tuck away for the future
