Need help testing a gas welder
Guys i have a guy that thinks his welder isn't working. Wants me to weld with it. He had a guy tell him that it is welding like it is DC- all the time. I checked the lever and the contacts are working. I am going to weld with it in a little bit.
I will let you know OH by the way Miller Trail Blazer 301G |

Re: Need help testing a gas welder
What gas is he using? DC neg is flux core territory. What are the symptoms? Most likely, it is either a wire feed issue or too slow of a feed rate.

Re: Need help testing a gas welder
There was nothing wrong with the welder. Guy didn't know how to set up the welder.
