Re: New shop cart

Now all you need to do to that cart is add and engine and drivetrain with steering capability and you'll be able to drive from one side of your work to the other side. ~

Re: New shop cart

Looks comfy! Have you considered putting some gussets under the seat or does it seem to not flex much when you sit on it?

I did considered it but i stood on it and jumped up and down with no flex whatso ever. I welded all 4 points of contact. Should not tip over the plate on the bottom is 3/16. Weighs about 30+ pounds. The casters are off a furnature dolly so i hope they can hold my 200 pound but. I made a welding table too i have a few pics somewhere just a ladder on its side. I need to find some plate to cover half of it.

Add an electric motor with a steering mechanism on the casters. Voila - fat man's lazy workstool!

Not that I'm calling you fat - i'm mainly thinking of myself

Re: New shop cart

Very nice little shop stool - that'll sure save on the knees.

Well, since y'all brought up barstool racing ......

Google "barstool racing"

www.barflyracing.com
www.outlawracing.net
http://www.wagon-works.com/itmidx2.htm (Radio Flyer carts)

And most importantly, the link to a complete set of plans!
