Hey Everyone.

Hi, My names Zach, 15, Live in Mesa, Arizona.

I'm a Sophomore in High school. Ive taught myself to MIG weld and Ive been doing it for about 2 years but about 3 days ago i picked up a stick welder for the first time. I'm having alittle trouble with the bead but its alot of fun.

I plan on using welding in my career. I also plan on getting certified and all that great stuff but Ive got alot to learn still.

I'm into Bull riding. We've got some friends who own a bucking bull company called Bracht Bulls (http://www.brachtbulls.com). We go out there about 3 times a week and hang out. Ive fought bulls before but most the time in behind the shoots moving bulls, getting the flanks off and other fun deals.

I'm also into computers, i made the Bracht Bulls site. Ive been getting alot of family and friends saying i need to goto in computers because thats were the money is but na. Codes changing yearly and all. That I'm not an office kinda guy if you know what i mean. Also, welding is welding and unless the laws of physics change any time soon, welding basics will probably be the same for a while.

I'm glad to be here and to start getting some tips, advice and feedback from pros. So ill talk to you guys around.

- Zach

Even though I'm still a newbie around these parts, welcome! And if you're having trouble with the beads (or anything) there's no substitute for PRACTICE.

I always thought that 'to be a welding GOD, ya gotta burn lotsa ROD'.
