Cut 50 consumables

A friend of mine bought a Cut 50, so far, seems to like it.

We were talking shop about plasmas ( I have a Miller 375 ) and the topic of tips came up.

I buy mine 5 at a time. Not because they wear out or die early; it's because it will be 5pm Sunday evening - and the LWS is closed.

What consumables does a cut50 take? Are they special import tips, or are they available at any LWS?

At this time, I don't know what torch comes with the Cut50, but I can find out sometime during the day.

The standard torch for the Everlast Super Cut 50 and Power Plasma 50 uses consumables that you can pickup at a LWS (if they carry trafimet), through Everlast AND even Harbor Freight (which is open Saturday and Sunday).

Harbor Freight prices are steep when they are not on sale. $19.95 for two pieces. They do have a 5 pack on-sale at times for under $20.

But if it is a weekend, you did not hide a couple behind the unit in a zip lock bag, and have a HF store near by you then you're good to go.
