Red Face Question SA 200

Bought An SA 200 that has a black face on it...guys says its a redface. How do i check to make sure..?

Run the numbers on face plate, code, serial. look for # on barrel

Somebody do me a favor and define the word "redface". Note that Lincoln themselves have never used this term and it was apparently coined by consumers but no one can seem to give me an effective defintion that makes sense. THANKS

the red comes from the color of the "face plate" on the machine either red or black
