Re: 6gr

I have certified over 2,000 6GR welders with .045 E71T1/C-25. 8" Schedule 160 Pipe, with a flat cut, welded to an 8" schedule 80 with a 33 Degree Bevel, with a nickel Nose and a 3/32 Root opening. 200 Amps and 26 Volts. Positioned in a 45 degree angle with the 180 pipe up. Root (up), fill (up) and 3 down caps. Only 2 could not pass. 6 weeks course. I will look for the WPS, but above is the same, just fill in the blanks. John Gault
