Unknown Welding Magnets

Has any one seen these types of magnets, im looking to put a value on them for either sale or insurance. Please Help!!
I tried contacting SPI but couldn't get anywhere

Did you look at ebay to see if there were any on there? That's where I would start to get an idea about value.

I'm pretty sure that is a machinist's setup tool. While you could use it to measure or setup a joint for welding, it's not meant to be in close proximity to heat. It looks to be a precision instrument.

I've check into ebay, craiglist and haven't had any success. the link to spi was the replacement piece that they suggested, i didn't argue with the lady.
