Lincoln's 2010 Lineup

Just got my new catalog from the factory.
I have to admit that it is a little saddening to see the equipment that I have is becoming old hat. All my gear is still in top condition and still works perfectly but Lincoln has moved on to better things now.
My Ranger 9 is now obsolete.
My LN-25 has been replaced by the Ln-25 Pro
Even my PowerMig 350MP which I bought last year has new mig guns. My Python Plus has been replaced with the new Panther Guns.
My little 110v I use for quick tacks and sheetmetal is the old style metal case and not the new rounded look.

I guess I am just sentimental reflecting on my gear.

Any thoughts from you guys?

Don't forget. There is a fine line between old and antique.

Re: Lincoln's 2010 Lineup

I did get a little miffed when I finally bought my plasma cutter from Thermal Dynamics and the VERY next year they changed the model. In mere months mine was visually outdated! But that Cutmaster101 still has my buddies coming by asking to make some cuts here and there. So I guess it's still desirable!! hehehe

Isn't that like your spouse? Don't you want to have her, but still want other guys to want her? hahahaha

Re: Lincoln's 2010 Lineup

My equipment is obsolete when it costs more to maintain than it makes. Technology moves so fast now it is tough to keep up and quite expensive too.

Re: Lincoln's 2010 Lineup

Not a thing wrong with a PM-350 and a Ln-25. This is coming from somebody with a C-300 powerwave and a LN-25 pro.The last PM-350 I used, worked very nice. PM is a nice reliable platform.

Yes, after looking through your list of machines, I wish I had your problem.

Regards to all.
