Mig welder 230
I would like to buy a MIG WELDER 230 amp, but I want to get exactly what I need.
1) MIG WELDER 2) CAR Unibody/Frame work I was looking at the Hobart 287 but I was not sure if this would be sufficient to do the work and I do not know the quality of the welders. I was also looking at the Lincoln Electric Pro Mig 180. I would like to stay under $700.00 Any thoughts or suggestiosn would be great. Thank You Last edited by shaggys22; 02-12-2010 at 07:56 AM. |

Re: Mig welder 230
X2. You might like one more than the other and might not like what I would. I have and older Lincoln weld pac 155 converted to Mig from flux core and it easily does what you want. The lincoln can be wired for 208 volts if you need that.

Re: Mig welder 230
I've got the Hobart 187, seems to be a pretty good welder for the price. I've run several spools of wire (10#), used it way beyond it's duty cycle a couple times and it has performed flawlessly. Only thing I would like to change on mine is to have a nicer gun and it would be nice to be spool gun ready which I think the 210 class machines are.
