This guy is having a bad day! LOL

http://reno.craigslist.org/sks/1709907997.html

I wish I could find out what's up this guy's a$$. While I'm not a real "RIG" welder, as he states, nor do I claim to be, I do advertise for some small jobs on craigslist. What I don't, or never will do is take any job that I'm not capable of doing. I don't weld for a living, it's just a hobby for me, and if I can pick up some extra cash for my time great. The jobs I take on are small, things that I can finish in my garage. This guy seems to be pissed off that there are non-certified welders out there who can still really weld, and make some money on the side. SH!T I'm just venting now. Thought I'd never do that Sorry about that, this guy just irked me the wrong way.

Re: This guy is having a bad day! LOL

We may yet find out what is in his southern orifice. I'm just in the kind of mood that I had to reply to his message . Here it is,

" Wow, a little angry you're not working???? You have personally seen all these "douche bags"( that's two words, by the way) welds???
A pro like you should be too busy to be posting on C.L.. I guess the "dumb ****s" in your town are a bit hesitant to hire someone who's a little high strung. Doesn't make for a steady welding hand
Best of luck!!!!!!!! "

I'll post his reply. I'm sure there will be one. Unless, of course, his head pops off before hitting send or his keyboard ends up through his monitor!
Yeah, I know better, but I just had too...............
Got that Dennis Leary song in my head now.........

Re: This guy is having a bad day! LOL

I've seen guys like that so many times it's not funny. They're really bad around the South Ark Oil Fields. You get a guy out there that has been welding since he got out of high school, took 20 years to get good enough to weld a true 6G (Arkansas Bell Hole [yeah, it's really that bad]) and he has to show an 18 year old the ropes around the pipe yard. That 40 year old man will get so steamed that an 18 year old has been hired to do the same job it took him 20 years to learn.

I say this from experience. James spent two days in the hospital after he stroked out last year. Bad thing about it was, he was the ONLY weldor working for my uncle at the time and was complaining about the overtime. New boy passed 6G at 15. His father had started him at 10 and was, himself, one helluva weldor. The boy knew more than James.
