What do you think about these machines.

2 machines on a local buy and sell. Emailed the guy a couple times, i'm thinking about buying one or both of these.

The first;
250 Amp L-Tec mig with boom for wirefeed
Nice condition
230 or 575 volt 3 phase input
Asking $500 OBO
L-Tec B88K-80485

This was originally posted at $750 on may 1st, so i'm thinking there might be more room for bargaining.

The Second;
450 Amp Airco Mig welder with boom for wirefeed
Good older heavy duty machine.
$750 OBO
Airco RG909001

This was originally posted at $1400 on may 1st. I think there still might be room for bargaining.

Also, I might try to pick this one up for cheap, or get him to throw it in if I buy both of the others;

Hobart Motor Generator DC Welder
250 Amp
220/440 Volt 3 Phase
No Cables Included
$125 obo

These machines are about an hours drive from the city. I'm just trying to get as much info as I can before taking the drive.

I also posted on the miller board for some info on the Airco.

I emailed ESAB Tech support for info on the L-tec.

Thanks guys.

Re: What do you think about these machines.

The 1st issue I see with these are that they are 3 phase. If you have that already, it's not an issue, but for many that kind of kills the deal.
