Re: Getting a plasma cutter refilled?

Hey guys I'm having a problem too, the other day I wanted to do a clean up but the vacuum in my cleaner has fallen out......where can I get the vacuum cleaner refill.....the ecomomy size would be just great, but it must be environmentally friendly too.

I looked in the cleaner bag, but it was just full of rubbish, no vacuum.

Does the vacuum automatically re-install itself when you empty the bag?

Last question, how do I know when the vacuum is clean enough?
Ian.

It depends on what brand of plasma torch you have, it's not like all plasma is universal like oxygen and acetylene is to cutting torches. You have to get the kind specified for your particular machine. Other wise it can cause big problems with how your torch cuts, might cause it to quit working altogether. If that happens, then it's not covered under warranty either and it's difficult to drain out to refill with the proper brand of plasma. Read the owners manual for your machine to see what's specified.

Your lucky it wasn't something major broke down on the escalator where they had to order parts and wait like a week for them to arrive. You would have had to eat food court food that the mall staff brought you all that time. Then if you need to use the restroom you just have to hold it till the escalator is repaired.
Did you get the right brand of plasma for your rig? It would be bad to go back to exchange it for the proper stuff and have the escalator break down again.

This is like the guy who asked me for a DVD rewinder when I worked at Circuit City 12 years ago. I am still laughing about it! Ridiculous

Oh-oh, I allways thought that they're for adjusting turnbuckles. One end for the r/h thread and the other one for the l/h thread.

Re: Getting a plasma cutter refilled?

Don't be ridiculous, everyone knows you can use an adjustable wrench in either direction, not at all like a pipe wrench!

That was the standard joke for newbies in the plumbing shop. The amazing part is they'd always send the newbie back to the shop to get the left-handed pipe wrench, asking the toolroom clerk for the "left-handed" pipe wrench. Of course, the guy was always in on the joke and hand the guy a different pipewrench, and send him on his way.

Fortunately, I wasn't caught on that joke - of course, there were several others I fell for! Of course, I wiped those from my memory as lapses of judgement, and moments of shame.

Re: Getting a plasma cutter refilled?

Being part of the car world growing up I was caught with a few of those as well. One of them was dumping Ajax down the carb to "refresh" the cylinder walls....

I did it on my 77 T-bird that smoked. After doing it the car didn't smoke any more and I can't figure out why. It still ran just fine and all. But after wising up, to this day I can't figure out how the smoke stopped. Anyone have an idea?
