Aloha from Hilo

Just saying hi to all you guys. I'm a recently retired fireman, going back to community college for a welding and machining two year course. I hope to learn more from the people on this site in the years to come.

Hi and welcome to the forum! What type of welding are you really interested in, stick, mig, tig? If you have any projects you are working on, dont be afraid to post up pics of them. Again, welcome and enjoy your stay!

Re: Aloha from Hilo

They are all challenging for me at this stage. We're doing OFW and SMAW this semester with just a taste of FCAW and GMAW.

All I know is this would have been easier at a younger age rather than at 54.
