I figured you sold them. I was VERY close to buying the diesel. Glad you sold them! I think you are the 10th person to say there is work up there right now.

I have enough right now. I need to over haul one when the need is higher than the cost. I have slowly been going over to smaller miller products the lincolns are just so THIRSTY!

Bobcat, Miller matic 252, are the first 2 millers I have owned in years. the bobcat has been a dream. people keep telling me, wait untill you use a trailblazer, etc. I had a bobcat years ago and had a problem with it. This one has been flawless!

Re: Not mine!!

11.5 gallon tank and it last me 29 hours last week . I got my machine used with just over 2100 hours on it I can't afford a new one either. Miller needs to start offering better financing.

Re: Not mine!!

I had bought a new bobcat in 2009 and it welded great got good economy on fuel but it was just to loud for me It had to be far away and then everytime Ineeded to change an adjustment or something It was a trek. But for the price it couldn't be beat I had a trailblazer and I couldn't tell much difference in arc with the bobcat verse the trailblazer. But I did notice that the power supply was not as good with the blazer.

Re: Not mine!!

The new Miller Big Blue Pro 300 is one that has my interest piqued. I'm wondering if it's good enough to put the Pipe Pro 304 out of the inventory. The 304 would be a more attractive machine if they would get rid of the high rpm diesel and replace it with an 1800 rpm diesel

So you actually like the Bobcat. Most people here have said "the Bobcat is a nice generator, that welds". I had an older Bobcat 225G, and it worked great. But now I want either a Pro300 or a Trailblazer. Everybody seems to rave about these two. And after reading slowhand's post on his Vantage 300,.......... No,..... must..... resist..... the.....red..... Batman! All kidding aside, I am not a pipe weldor, nor will I ever be, but that post makes me think....... just sayin.

Re: Not mine!!

What I like about pro 300 is how quiet it is I can stand 10 feet from it and hold a conversation with someone. Has a vry nice weld to it and it has a 14 pin plug so I can run a spool gun off it. The 11000 watt generator was the selling point and the reason I got rid of my Sa 250. It runs the plasma well.

Do you have to use the WC-24 for the spoolgun? I assume you are running 15A or 30A spoolgun?

Re: Not mine!!

Yep Wc 24 and the 30 amp spool gun have not had a chance to get another argon tank so I haven't hooked it up and run it yet.
