Hello,

Names Matthew, and I'm 29 years old. Started off about 6 years ago welding structural in the field and shop (stick and mig). I now work for the Pipefitter's Local 800 out of Sudbury, Ontario. I've been on pretty steady with a local contractor for the past year and a half or so. We do everything from stainless to ms to C276 in stick, tig, and mig. I've found a new love for welding pipe and would never want to go back to welding structural (Sorry if that offends you.)

Anyways, I checked out the forums before I became a member and found there is a lot of talent and knowledge around here. I'm a firm believer that conversing with other welders is the best way to get better because everybody has got a trick or piece of information that will help you become the best welder you can be.
