sa200 question
I'd like to know if I were to go to a one-wire Delco alternator can I eliminate the voltage regulator on my 82 sa200 ? Is the any downside to going to a one-wire alternator ? Thanks

Re: sa200 question
No, you won't need the voltage regulator. I went to a stock GM alternator since it excites at lower rpms than a one-wire does. There is much information on this forum if you use the search function.
