i'm not sure where to post this...but....

i won the auction on e-bay for a a-c..d-c tig welder...

hobart 250 tr ac-dc tig

water cooled torch and everything...

its not far from here so pick up is no problem...

now i need a gas mixer and a few other tid-bits and off we go!!!!!!


...zap! is back with more than just a stick welder!!!

Some parts are missing

I have figured out that keeping everyone happy is nearly impossible but pissing people off is easy and fun.

well i am a tigger...

but where i work now only has a stick welder..hee hee

but not no more...hee hee hee !!

soon my friend i'll be doing some amazing tig welding on all sorts of metal...

Congrats! Is that a transformer machine? Sounds like a winner. I'd like to know how it works out and what settings you will be using...comments about using a non-square wave machine on aluminum and so forth.

It sounds like you are in business!

Well, you're a good welder so I'm sure you'll figure it out in a huirry. I can feel the excitement. I love tools too and I've felt exactly the same way every time I acquire another machine. I also prefer used machines. They "talk" to me in a way that something new might not.

I'm looking forward to hearing your further adventures with this new machine!
