tig welder

Haven`t heard any comments on Airco stuff. There is a 1987 Airco300 amp tig welder, with complete pulser, water cooler, and tig tip torch. Asking $1000.00. Any thoughts on this? Alan

Re: tig welder

a saw a Lincoln Tig 300 with foot pedal sell for $700 at an auction here about a year ago. Auctioneer said seller claimed it was working but he didn't know for sure.

Re: tig welder

The Airco stuff is good stuff, but it's support is gone now. I don't think anyone picked it up when they went away. 1987 sounds really recent, because, I think they went out of bid'ness about then.

Re: tig welder

I would only pay no more than $500 for this machine which BTW, was built for Airco by Miller in Appleton, WI. You're talking about a system that's almost 20yrs old!

Respectfully,
