Is it possible to connect my Linde Mig 35 wire feeder to my miller 456P?????

I have looked at the manual for the ESAB Mig 35, which is visually identical to my Linde Mig 35, and it says that the contactor control circuit is 12v. Is this compatable with my miller power source? I can build my own cable if that is all that is needed. Does anybody know if the ESAB mig 35 and the Linde mig 35 are acutally the same internally?

Is anybody else here using a miller power source with a different brand wire feeder? I have only ever used self contained roll-around migs, this is my first power source/wire feeder combo.

Thanks,

Zac

I don't know those feeders specifically, but many feeders interchage between power sources of a variety of brands. I use a cc/cv suitcase feeder that works on pretty much any power supply of any type. You should be able to grab a manual from the miller website using your 456P's serial number. This will give you much of the info you will need. Maybe someone here has a similar setup and will chime in and give you more details.
