Re: Aluminum fill neck & cap
Hey, cool. I was just about to do a giggle search on this very subject. I am building a new truck and want a new transfer tank. The one I want is 800 bucks....got me wondering how much it would cost to build it.

Re: Aluminum fill neck & cap
Try Full Bore Race Products. They have 1 5/16" and 2 1/2" sizes in steel and aluminum, $22.50 and $29.50. Hard to justify the time to make one for that price.

Re: Aluminum fill neck & cap
Thanks guys!
I bought one to make a small gas tank for my sons scooter and I paid $45.00 for the neck and cap. then after I welded it, the cap threads were so tight I had to file them down. Dang heat from my tig must have warped the piece. I was underpowered for the job and had to put a lot of heat into it to run a bead.

Re: Aluminum fill neck & cap
Try Canton Racing Products. I know they have radiator and expansion tank necks in billet or cast. Don't know about fuel. Excellent stuff though.
