That looks like my KZ400 project bike. A friend gave it to me a few years ago, but I haven't got around to fixing the no-spark condition, yet.

Re: My Little bobber project

Could we get some tighter shots of the welds? Specifically where the new tubes meet the Kaw frame? Just curious.

Nope I havent lol Im not hardcore enough to ride it straight rigid.. I am going to make a springer seat setup using adjustable mini coilovers from a small scooter.

Im gonna be using mini coil over shocks off a scooter for the seat. Its kinda hard to picture right now but gonna be different as most of these homemade bobber builds are

Re: My Little bobber project

Aint it fun welding on the paper thin Japanese frames. Looks good. Ive chopped a seca 400 and a Honda cj360. All made of free scrap (including the bikes lol), came out alright. Silk purse sows ear kinda thing. Really wished I wouplda put the effort into bigger bikes, but I guess I had to start small. I was gonna turn my ex girlfriend into a bobber, but the schooling woulda taken forrever so I traded up.

AWESOME! Can't wait to see how it comes out. Keep track of how much this project costs and how many hours you put forth. Good luck!

Re: My Little bobber project

It looks really long, you might want to set the motor in it and a seat on it and see how it looks from afar. otherwise looks like a fun project
