Ideas for new fab table

We have just built a new shop and I need a new fab table. The old one is made from 4 pieces twelve inch channel 40 feet long. It is not flat nor level and I constantly have to shim not to mention it is difficult to clamp anything to it. I have been given the go ahead to build a new table of my own design. Attached is a my current design but would like to have other opinions, ideas and criticisms before I build.

Re: Ideas for new fab table

That looks like a good design. I like the holes for the clamps and the only thing I would mention would be to put adjustable feet on all legs to compensate for floor irregularly and that way you can always true it up, but I'm sure you were going to do that anyway..
