Device Tree -- AKA peripheral holder

Something I worked on yesterday. Had too many devices to fit on my table, and so they ended up on top of my table, which made it useless. This is bigger than I have needs for right now, but I did that so I can continue to expand.

I built a little cart at the bottom and attached a double-sided a-frame to it. Made clamps with receiver hitch to attach/hang on the angle iron.

Works really well.

One pic is of a bracket I cut out. Looks like a rocket ship, but it isn't. The lines in the bracket were relief cuts as some of the bends were with a clamp and hammer.

Pics may not be in any particular order.....

Looks BA! Very smart idea especially if a shop doesn't have a lot of room, or doesn't use certain things all the time.

Re: Device Tree -- AKA peripheral holder

Very creative and practical. It gives me a starting point on ways to organize and build out my shop. Thanks for the video and your thoughts on why you did it. Good job!

VERY NICE!!!

This is design is perfect for my shop, and I'll copy it later this year. I think I might add a roller for use as a extension work piece support when using my chop saw. Your design makes it easy to move the 'roller/support' to and from the saw. Cutting on the floor is a pain.
