My first project, Coffee Table

Hey everyone, I have been viewing the site for a while learning as I go, I built this while going to night welding school, (something fun to do) and started talking about doing a coffee table as a project in class. Here is how it turned out, tell me what you think. Metal from Kings, powder coating is called silver vein, and the glass is 1/4" plate with beveled edge. Thanks

Chris

That is really nice!
We don't have anything like Kings in my area. I have yet to find any metal supplier with stuff like that in Arizona. Boy you did EXCELLENT if that's your first project!!

Very nice! I recognize some of the steel being from Kings. Do you have the part numbers you ordered. I would love to make a similar table for my finished basement! Great attention to detail!

I'm guessing Kings sells that ornate metal? I seem to recall a post about it. Very nice BTW...great first project.

Yes it is King Architectural metals they will send a catalog for free if you email them your request and the catalog is very detailed and about 300-400pages thick. Thank you all for your very gracious comments. I hope to have more to display in the future. Thanks again.

Nice work .... just looked up Kings and they are in my back yard.

Gonna have to go down there and check them out.

From what I have seen on thier web site, I'm gonna go broke making projects!
