hello, my name is Victor. i recently decided to get into automobile tig welding. i know absolutly nothingt about tig welding. over the summer i had some extra cash so i went out and brought a miller syncrowave 200 tig welder. i think i have everything i need except some good gloves and the filler rods.

if everything works out good i will me making exhaust manifolds for cars. maybe even doing a few roll cages and what not. wish me the best of luck

Re: learning to tig with syncrowave 200

hey victor whats up?
glad you want to tig..but its not easy so go slow...

tigging car stuff is cool..
get to learn the basics first..
part failure can be a bad thing..
you dont want that on your first rollcage do ya?

practice welds on the stuff you want to weld all the time..
go to fab shops and beg for "cut offs"..
usually you can get'em for free..
theres a lot of learning in those pieces...
rather than in the cage for a friend...

welcome to the forums..
good people here..

...zap!
