Insectoid One

First attempt at yard 'art' , this is supposed to be a butterfly type bug and holds a jar candle thing in the center. Was going to have legs, but too much work so it will hang on a post or something.
Wife wanted it, course she has not seen it yet

If you can jam some stained glass into it, and add a sprinkler, you may be good for a Plasma cutter.
Just make sure you hang it someplace you don't have to walk in the dark, things like that hurt when they contact your skull.

Good Job PX, I like the design. Doesn't look like a first attempt at all.

Franz - like the sprinkler idea, could attach these things to some kindve stake and stab in ground at areas requiring watering.

Jim314- first time trying to build a 'butterfly', though not the first time making odd ball crafts

The idea came to my wife from a picture in one of her 'garden' magazines-

Check out the things this guy is doing with copper, www.copperforge.com
He was doing some nice combinations of stained glass and copper sprinklers, but may have dropped them cause he couldn't keep his joynts together, and wasn't willing to exchange a free sprinkler kit for my developing a joining method that didn't anneal the copper.

Nice job PX, nothing like something trivial to make the girls see how important your hobby is.
