I just ordered a handler 187 185 amp 220v mig welder an dim looking to see info and some welding with this welder if any one has a 187. I have never used a good welder my last welder was a HF 151 mig burnt it up in less thin a year. I was running mig with co2 and i dont know how to set up this welder for co2 or if it can be set-up.

i've run nothing but flux core threw mine with good results. i've had it about a year now. i like it. mine came with a regulator to run gas. all you need is a cylinder of co2 and an adapter to make the co2 valve mate to the regulator.

would you have a site or a pic of that part

The Handler 187 was designed to run best with C-25 shielding gas. I've ran this unit with CO˛ and C-25. The C-25 arc is much cleaner, and significantly easier to get dialed in properly.

This would be the adapter you need to hook up your reg to a 100% CO2 cylinder. They should be available at most welding supplys. I know TRactor supply near me stocks them as well.

One difference between co2 and c25. It takes 2 more volts with co2 to get a similar weld, to what you get with c25. When using the same wire size and speed.

ya i was looking at that but i have a tank of co2 it was gave to me so i will use it till is gone thin see how much c25 is.

I real alot on here and alot of people say co2 is hotter thin c25 but if you have to have more amps for co2 thin c25 wouldnt that make c25 hotter.

I've had one for about 5 years. Great little machine. The ground last me about a year though

I just use .30 wire on a large spool with co2 gas. The chart that lists the wire feed verses the welding amperage is only a rough starting point. I have found that on my machine, my wire speed is 5 points less then what the chart recomends. IE: 1/8-1/4" cold roll steel I use #5 current and #30 wire speed. Co2 gas works very well if you don't mind a little splatter. The welds are clean with very good penetration. I love the ease the way it welds. Keep a can of mig tourch spray handy so your gun stays clean.
