I posted before about shaping floor pans and i just wanted to post after pictures.

Cut out old
Welded and shaped sheet metal
Fiberglassed
Rubber coated

Sorry for the crappy pix, taken w/ a camera phone.

Looks good. I wish I could see some better pics though. What kind of car is it?

Hahahaaa...Joe you slacker, you forgot to post the car! It's a Rust-tang...er, Mustang. ;) I think he said 67 or 68?

Just kidding, all of our poor Northern cars rust. :(

What type of welder did you use? I have a '69 Mustang that I will one day need to put floor pans in.

I have a car and the rust, now I just need the welder.

Well they don't rust like that if you take 'em to the car wash every week.... :nono:

They rust much worse! Because the car wash drives recycled salty wash water into every seam! :realmad:

It wasn't that hard to shape them. It was pretty much flat and i just made the ends rounded so they'd sit flush on the sides.

I used a Clarke 160 that John recommended to me and i love it.

I bought the car liek this with this much rust.
