Got this machine in rough shape had one single 12 volt battery on it, some of the switches labels have been removed, my issue is I do not know how to start the machine. when i put the battery on it what i believe is the on switch (which is located just behind the motor on the right side- its a push button/knob) I am getting a greenish ark when I push the button in. generator 'feels' like current is going through it, but nothing is spinning, so the motor obviously wont start. How do you start this machine, how many batteries do I need? (is it 24 volts?) What switch actually starts this ancient machine. I am sure your aware that this machine does not have a starter on the engine.
I received a manual for this G213 in the mail, and it does not troubleshoot the problem, any help is greatly appreciated.

I checked a few sites, others had the same question. It's 24 volts.
