FYI, SSC Controls is the OEM for the TA 8-pin foot control. They don't normally sell the TA control direct the to the public, but if you give them a call they may be able to hook you up with one...

Thanks sstorkel :-) Do they have a web site or phone?

Yes they do. I don't remember it off-hand, but it's the first or second link that comes up if you google for 'SSC Controls', IIRC.

As an added possibility for your foot control, you can find out what size potentiometer your system requires and maybe find a used pedal from another manufacturer. If the potentiometer is correct, but the plug and number of pins is not, change the plug. I found AMP and Amphenol brand plugs and pins through Allied Electronics. My Thermal arc PS3000 uses a 10K ohm potentiometer.

There are also fellows who have made their own foot pedals, sorry I don't have any links handy, but I've run across a few in the last year.

For what it is, foot pedals are WAY OVER PRICED!
