I not sure what a b-deck is, but you have to build a form from some type of strong material; wood, metal and then back that form with stakes ever 2'. Can you give us more information: size, where is it located: ground or elevated, how thick will the concrete be?

b-deck is the formed sheet metal decking commonly used to support concrete floors in steel framed buildings. I've never seen the actual concrete placement or forming, and was wondering if there is a common method to seal the ends?

Yes, Rock knocker or as a deck just pored last November, the steel framing and a mastic was used on this particular application . FYI light weight concrete is not all it's cracked up to be. Just get the "regular" stuff.

depending on the contract docs, bent plate, angle, or gage material is normally used as a pour stop. The vertical leg height would depend on the thickness of the pour. There is also a supporting member under the edge, and the pour stop is attached to it, then the deck placed over it.

anything from duct tape to spray foam to cardboard. it the deck is properly puddle welded or pinned to ledger angles then all you're doing is keeping the concrete from running out the cracks and end openings.

spray foam works best for ends

What is the most common method to seal the ends of b-deck to keep the wet concrete from pouring out?
if this is anything like the "Q" decking we use in high rise construction here in nyc the decking mfgr included flashing that was used to seal the ends of the decking around the columns and ends. it was simply thin galvanized sheet metal angles the same gauge as the decking and was attached by tacking. one leg of the angle was placed under the outside edge of the deck and the other leg covered the deck opening then the 2 thicknesses of deck would be tacked to the beam/joist. remember if you tack the decking all the way to the edge before you install the flashing you messed up big time.
