This unit is a portable semi-automatic wire feeder which operates on the arc voltage from a constant current or constant potential dc arc welding power source. All components, including the wire supply, the two drive roll feeder and permanent magnet motor are housed in an impact resistant, molded thermoplastic case.
The case is designed with an integral, molded handle with a lifting eye for suspending the wire feeder over the work area. It also has positive latches securing the side door to prevent wire contamination.
