I'm using one. It's allowed me to get going. The top can flex and needs some care to make sure it's flat if you're laying out something on it. I've also had one of the rubber/plastic feed crack and fall off. Par for the course with HF stuff, but has provided value and let me get some projects done.

Yes, with the 20% coupon, it is hard to beat. Like others, it helped get me started and a good platform to practice on. I would recommend quickly building your own or search craigslist to find a steal of a deal. My first "big" project was a table. (I ended up putting a wooded table top on it for my drill press since I found a very nice table for sale on CL.)

From the site: Heavy duty steel surface is zinc plated to resist rust

Between the sale price and the 20% off coupon, it's tempting. But I've heard that zinc fumes are very unhealthy. I don't know if that only applies to directly welding on galvanized steel or if heat from welding on the table might also volatilize it.

I use mine all the time. Have a cluttered workspace - this table folds up small, and is easy to carry out to the carport for a quick job.
PS, do a forum search - quite a few threads about the HF welding table.

It's a knock-off of the Strong Hand table, I've had one for sometime, Well Worth the price!

Currently it's like $59 I think w/coupon (you can't add a 20% to that). When they first came out they were $59 and you could use a 25% Off, they then raised the price to $79 as I remember...

I heard someone say it's actually the same as the strong hand tool table with a lower price tag. I have no idea as I don't have the hf or strong hand table to compare, maybe someone with both could comment?

I got one to tig weld brackets for the gps systems on the equipment while in the field

Kind of a cut bend, fit, weld, operation when making them and the little bench makes it much easier

Might have to pick one up. Seems handy for mobile work, I can see my self using it I the field. My welding trailer has a work surface built into it and I think the hf table would be good for setting your grinders, or tools on to keep your work surface clutter free. Then when your done fold it up and throw in the job box.

I'm just a newbie, still just practicing here. I bought this table for $59 and used a 20% off coupon. Love how the table folds for storage. Also has ledges on two sides that can move out of the way, but when used give a great support/brace. Nice table for small projects.

It works fine. I use one for portable small to medium projects routinely. I don't weld on top of my tables... Or I should clarify.... I don't put "spark" on the surface of my tables if I can help it, so the zinc plating doesn't hurt a thing. I try not to breath any welding smoke/fumes to begin with. I just stand upwind or use a fan to suck the fumes away from me when welding anyways. If I am getting a lot of smoke for whatever reason, or have to weld through zinc because I hate grinding, I just don a 3m respirator with the welding pancake filters.
