That was one of my ideas. Also was thinking about two angle iron triangles of sorts, and mount the wheel between them.

I'm assuming, and maybe wrong...………...the 'front' of the disc is where the drawbar pin is??????????????

And,, second assumption is that you're dragging the disc in the direction the drawbar pin is????????????????

So...…...if I'm assuming right...…..ya got it azz backwards

You are correct on your questions, and yes I welded the drawbar on the wrong side. I have since moved the discs to face the correct direction. With the V of the discs to the rear. Lol

I forget exactly what it was...……….but I was in such a hurry, that I welded something backwards on my new mailbox thingy. Cost a ton of time to fix it, and a ton of stress to get it out there before the Mail Nazi showed up

Yes sir, I was in a zone, and blanked out. Luckily didn’t take more than moving 6 bolts to reverse the discs.

Finished up a rebuild on this bale spear/grapple I built about 20 years ago. New spikes and sockets, plus doubled up the bottom beam for a bit more strength, they're handling much heavier bales now. Name: 20191206_073950.jpg

The grapple hooks really aren't needed unless the bales are on the soft side. I did give them the option of 5 spikes on the bottom row for soft bales, but 3 is usually enough. Built a bunch of these over the years to fit all kinds of quick attach loaders, this one fits an ACS QA on a 721B Case.

Yeah I saw the extra spots on the bottom, figgered maybe you were gonna put some half spikes in there.

Now if they just put multiple lift arms on the yellow case it could compete with red case.

That's a juggling act right there... These spear heads only load trucks out of the stack, three 1450 Lb bales at a time. To pick them up in the field most around here have the Stinger 6500 machine, twelve 3'x4'x8' bales per trip.

Had a comeback on a deal. Dooooood tries to lift 2 bales on a front 2 spike attachment...………….well *******...……...told ya the spears were rated at 1300lbs (shrug) I sell the ultra thin spike setups for hard bales, they ain't made for moving two bales at a time.

Been waiting so long to be able to say this is what I did today. My son is an Hvac guy and wanted to make something for holding the bottles in his work van. Funny thing is I started doing the welding and I asked him if he wanted to try and of course no more welding for me for the day.
