    Re: Welding Hats

I just got that in, and have more coming. Enough for seven hats. And just got crawfish and have more on the way. This is another rare, discontinued fabric that I searched all over for and finally found like the last little batch and bought it all up. Mom made me one of these years back, and I always wanted another one but never could find it till just recently.

    Re: Welding Hats

We received our hats today. Very good quality and both fit our noggins well! Excellent job Timmy! I'm going to look for a certain material that I want and send it to you for a couple more if I can find it! How much material is needed for a hat?

If anyone needs a hat, Timmy's your man!

Glad to hear they fit, and thanks for posting the pic while my real computer is down! It takes about a half yard to make a hat.

Be careful about drying those. All my hat material is pre shrunk beforehand, but you never can tell... I put mine on the dash in the truck in the sun to dry.

That's what P.O. boxes are for. You'd be surprised what will fit in the big ones.

Sounds to me like you need a black hat, Joe.

    Re: Welding Hats

You sure do a super job on those hats Timmy, I know I really like mine!
Much better than ANYTHING you can buy in any store, and nicer than other custom hats I've seen.
I really like those Davidbrown hats, very nice design prints!
    Any more material left?
Not too crazy about the red one, but the other 3 are awesome! ... hmmm
You still got my measurements on record?

I do have your measurements on file, Dave Padlr. You like the Sailor Jerry Tattoo prints? I have plenty of that, both black and tan.

DON'T PUT YOUR HATS IN THE DRYER!

You may be able to get by drying them on low...

Better to find a warm place in the sun to dry them, say on the truck dash.

I wash and dry the fabric before I make the hats, but they will still shrink some if you put them in a hot dryer.

I do, Steve. How do you want it, black on one side, tan on the other? Or something else?

Just do it black all the way out. The darker ones stay nice longer

Yes! I like the Sailor Jerry Tattoo prints!
All black both sides, for me too, please.
Could you match the layout pretty much identical to the black one you made for Davidbrown in the pictures above?
I really like how you did that one...(with the two honey's on the brim, one on the top side w/the flowers, and the knife through the skull, etc)...looks awesome!
Whenever you can find the time, no rush...and thank you so much!
