Idealarc for $100. Capacitor model made in 1957. Replaced the power cord. Added wheels. Works great.

Looks good. Those are pretty much indestructible . A person could probably submerge one of those and after drying it out it would work fine.

I might be, not really sure. They look handy! I already have a few different benders but the JD types look more versatile. I am always interested in what they sell for as they seem to be all over the place on prices, usually auctions like that one they can be had cheap.

What would you be looking to get for yours? I can start saving up some funds on the side.

Give me a call. I got it from a friend who bought it new, never used it. I bought it and never used it. If you get it all set up then I can just bring my tubing by you to bend.

good deal, I've used quite a few xmt350s good stuff mostly 304 though, long term experience is the 304's are one of the toughest welders in less than ideal conditions, I'm sure the 350 are also just haven't used them as much,

Swmbo found this on classified page at her job. 1908 Lodge and Shipley lathe with tooling. I have had it a couple of months now. Just got it wired up and turning. I have found no wear anywhere on it. The bed shows no signs of wear. All of the cranks have zero backlash in them. Cost= Gas and a couple of hours labor loading it on the trailer.Name: 2019-04-25 17.49.16-1resized.jpg

Re: The Official Craigslist Score Thread!

Been watching that facebook marketplace thing and finally found something I could get into. 4x4x1/4 angle, galvanized, and some 6" channel. All from an antenna tower that was torn down.

The angle is what I was after and managed to get a full 21' of it. The channel was a nice bonus and I would have gotten the entire length if the guy hadn't had it buried in the rest of the mess. Plenty enough for my needs. Planning on a couple of tool stands after I grind off the galvanizing near the welds, and who knows what else will come out of it!

Cost $40 plus my time/gas to get it. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

Did you put a bar under the chuck to see if there's any slop in the bearings?

Got a Kalamazoo Band Saw on Craigslist for $30. Cuts good after new guide bearings and a blade. Picture is sideways and a lot of clutter in the background. Knocked of some rust and rattle can painted it.

Some nice scores lately! That blue (is it sail blue?) on the bandsaw looks great, I always preferred dark colors for cutting tools, though even dark colors start to look "old" in short order due to the dust and chips.

That Kalamazoo looks very similar to the one I got a while back. Great score for $30

The blue is just Ford Blue from Tractor Supply. The paint on anything like that does start looking beat quickly
