At first I thought I would be able to get away with not moving the wheels outboard. But, I had a suspicion that it would be a bit tippy, so before I painted it I welded in plates to relocate the wheels just in case.Originally Posted by jrporter

Here is my cart. Construction derives from 100% scrap: bed rails and dishwasher front panel, wheels from old garbage can, plastic sheet from GP pickup years back. The upper trays pivot in and out to keep things tucked up. I've since added a rod holder insert on the lower tray. Front casters were from the rails (trimmed out). My daughters keep me stocked in bed rails from the throw-outs at the apartment.

Finally finished this cart, will be putting the Everest and my plasma cutter on soon along with everything else. May add rod holders soon, something that bolts on.

Works great low to ground less tipping
The only change i would do is use large wheels so would roll over cords.

can i use a common ground for my cart with more than one machine running. right now I run individual grounds for each machine, and plug and unplug each machine as its needed. I have room on the cart for a common power source that i would like to set up but im not sure if i can run multiple machines with a common ground, having more than one powered BUT using only one setup at a time.
the cart has a 3 different set ups. Hobart 210 ac/dc, stick tig. thermodynamics 60i plasma. and a Milermatic 200 mig

I can't decide which Syncrowave cart setup of yours is my favourite. I think the 351 wins for sheer coolness factor and neatness.
I'm really looking forward to getting the workshop finished and a few prssing jobs out of the way so I can drop back onto my XMT cart build.

Munkul that 351 Sync skid is my fave also.
A buddy wanted it badly as he had spent a lot of time welding iridium with one in earlier years and always liked the machine. He sold his 350 Dynasty and bought mine.

Hmmm.... I was thinking about making a height extension for my engine hoist for lifting things onto the truck in the shop. Now you've got me thinking about other uses...

I think the SP is from the 60’s. Not old compared to you and me. Lol
No idea if it could do 400 amps or not. The machine was hard wired into a 100 amp circuit when I found it. It’s not my daily driver as far as welders go.
