ZAP, thanks for sharing pics and video. I watched the video about 5 times. I didnt want to be the one to say it but since nobody else spoke up: Marc launched early at the 1:07-1:08 light IMO. I agree that when the yellow light goes out go but, it looks like he launched before the yellow light went out. BTW, that dragster turned out very nice.

All depends on how DEEP you stage..
Shallow stage..leave early but still dont break the beams..Thats what he did there..GREEN

Go in 3 more inches and do the same thing and you probably go RED.

    Video of Lou's Hoss..
    Note when he leaves...
Clutch car with 2 step and delay box...

All depends on how deep you stage.
99% of the time you try to be as shallow as possible but one little mistake and 2..3 inches throws everything out the window.\
    Not EASY by any means...

    Re: Pictures!

I was already watching KRAZY HOSS. It was linked after the Galot vid and I noticed the HOSS launched after the yellow light went out. I get it now, Marc used a deep stage and didnt break the beams before green light. Thanks for the clear explanation. I think I would go for shallow stage but I understand how perfect timing and deep stage could give an edge and higher speed when crossing the beams.

    Re: Pictures!

And if you note in Lou's vid...
The camaro in the other lane went deep AFTER the tree was activated and went RED before he even left.
See the top light go out after he staged?

You can go deep BEFORE the tree comes down and that is OK...
But roll a little after it starts............you go home.

    Re: Pictures!

I couldn't upload any photos last night, kept getting error message. The night before I managed to up load 6 but got a lot of error messages doing it. Most times it took 5 minutes or more before it would upload or show an error message. Probably took me more than 45 minutes to finally get those 6 done, so I quit.
