    Long time lurker, new poster

Hey everyone, I've been a lurker and reader on here for quite a while.

In the past I have mainly been hobby MIG welding on personal projects. A couple years ago I started Arc welding for work, and now own a Lincwelder 225 that I mounted to a jet ski trailer.

There's a great amount of information here, thanks everyone!

And so I'm not completely boring.... here's at least a picture of my LincwelderName: linwelder.jpg

Those Lincwelder’s always intrigued me. At some point I’ll pick one up when I find one at a good price. It will go with my SA200 Redface

I also want to spend some time with a Hobart G235

Welcome!! Can't tell in the pic but be sure to have the welder picking eye a few inches ahead of the axle centerline. Other wise if you unhitch it facing uphill it might do a wheelie on you.

Yeah, I'm ashamed to admit that it didnt even occur to me that the picking eye was the center of mass up top. I just eye balled it, luckily there is still enough tongue weight that it stays planted and pulls fine. Its much better when I have 200' of lead on the front, so I guess it works out.
