    Finally got a shop!

I haven't posted much because I've been so busy this year. We started this spring looking for a piece of land to put a shop on and store my "stuff", but we didn't find anything that we liked, so we decided to sell our house and buy something that suited us better.vwhile looking I drove past this place that was sitting empty, so I looked up the owner and asked if they would sell. They said yes and even gave us an awesome deal. We just closed and moved in. Decent house, 40x60 pole shed with half concrete and firring for insulation and lining with great wiring, a nice barn and a quonset shed and a smaller garage. Still moving in, but I'll now have a place inside to work! Should make some projects easier to get done. Name: 0909180727.jpg

Beautiful place. That shop is huge. I like that the walls and frames are metal so you don’t catch it on fire.

Congrats! I look forward to the day where my hard work will have gotten me a man cave, and a shop. Must feel good!

Ps: Clean the camera lens off next time! I wiped my eyes about three times thinking the blurriness was something in them!

You found a nice place, country living is such a blessing, have fun. Get a few big dogs to keep you and your stuff safe from dopers and set up a camera to see what's going on.

58 acres appraised at about 280,000. We got it for quite a bit less because the guy selling it was tired of the hassle and we had maxed out our budget, so he gave us an awesome deal. He didn't need the money so it didn't hurt him much.

Real nice place congratulations, but I hate to tell you if you spent that kind of money around here you could have got a 1000 sf ranch on a 1/4 acre or less land and a whopping 60 amp service and with a 7 or 8 k property tax bill a year if you did your homework and shopped well, and there's more expensive places joking aside real nice place

Well, we'll just have to suffer with this one. Taxes are about $1,300.00/year on this one, but that is for AG land. Was about double that for the other guy as non- homestead.

Out here that would run 2-5 million depending on water rights...
