    New to the forum

I'm 28 years old and from Virginia. Been a hobby welder for a couple years mostly welding on farm equipment. My machines are a old Sears Craftsman transformer stick welder, and a Hobart Iron Man 210. Just recently acquired a spoolgun for it but have not set it up yet. Also just recently got a oxygen acetylene setup and am starting to play with that. I ordered a lunchbox size stick welder to be a little more mobile with some of the farm repairs that hasn't made it in the mail yet. Hoping to learn more about welding and metal fabrication through the forum.

    Re: New to the forum

Hello fellas, I spent the last years in Kuwait desert on oil tanks and pipelines... not going back there i will let someone else burn on that sun so I am mainly a stick welder but I use MIG and Flux from time to time, I would like to go intro TIG if its not to late. I'm here for the experiences of other welders, maybe learn something new about TIG and other processes, welding schools and etc.

Clifton Forge! I used to stay at a friend's sheep farm in Williamsville. I think that was my exit. Might want to put your location in your profile to connect with local folks and resources.
